Towards Machine Translation for the Kurdish Language

Abstract
Investigates Sorani Kurdish-English machine translation using OpenNMT LSTM encoder-decoder models and several tokenization strategies. The experiments use Tanzil, TED and translated KurdNet material and demonstrate strong domain sensitivity.
